The MOA team is dedicated to providing high quality musculoskeletal care to the residents and visitors of the Monadnock Region. From the Pediatric to the Geriatric population, our goal is to keep you in the game of life! Our services range from rehabilitation of minor injuries to major surgical reconstructive procedures. Included among our patients are college and recreational / amateur athletes, "occupational athletes" (work injuries), children with playground injuries and those with chronic degenerative conditions.

We have 4 team members working together to serve you. Our surgeons, Drs. White and Michalak, cover the vast majority of the Orthopaedic / Sports Medicine / fracture care spectrum from minor outpatient procedures to major reconstructions and joint replacement. "Minimally Invasive" techniques are employed whenever it is in the patient's best interest -- from mini-incision carpal tunnel release to all arthroscopic rotator cuff repair to muscle sparing total knee replacement. Both have trained with the developer (Dr. J. Irving) of a "2 incision" approach to hip replacement to speed your recovery. "Water Proof"/ swimming casts are available for many fractures! Both are diplomates of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery ("board certified").

Dr. Harrington is a physiatrist who focuses on Sports Medicine and is frequently found covering local events as well as major triathalons. He also specializes in nonoperative spine care, custom orthotics as well as providing electrodiagnostic services for nerve disorders. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as a certified Independent Medical Examiner.

Our PA (physician assistant), Amanda Earl , works in concert with Dr. White and Dr. Michalak to better serve your needs and provide seamless care between the outpatient setting, operating room, inpatient setting and emergency department.
